DESCRIPTION:

It is a third generation cephalosporin of broad spectrum against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, such as Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia spp., Haemophilus somnus, Fusobacterium necrophorum, Bacteroides melaninogenicus, Escherichia coli, Arcanobacterium pyogenes and Fusobacterium necrophorum, among others.

INDICATIONS:

  • Pigs: Treatment of respiratory infections associated with Pasteurella multocida (Pasteurellosis), Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (Pleuropneumonia) and Streptococcus suis (Streptococcal).
  • Cattle: Treatment of respiratory infections associated with Mannheimia haemolytica and Histophilus somni (BRD) and Pasteurella multocida (Pasteurellosis).
  • Treatment of panadizo interdigital associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum and Bacteroides melaninogenicus (Porphyromonas asaccharolytica).
  • Treatment of bacterial components of acute metritis postpartum (puerperal) within 10 days after calving associated with Escherichia coli, Arcanobacterium pyogenes and Fusobacterium necrophorum.

DOSE AND ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:

  • Intramuscularly, Subcutaneously.
  • Cattle, Horses, Sheep and Goats: Administer 1 ml per every 25 kg of body weight.
  • Pigs: Administer 1.5-2.5 ml per every 25kg of body weight.
  • Dogs and Cats: Administer 0.2-0.4ml per every 5kg of body weight.
  • Administer once a day for 3-5 days.

Storage in dry and cool places. Protected from direct sunlight. Store between 0° and 30° C.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:

There have been reports of toxicosis on the bone marrow.
