INDICATIONS:

Florfenicol Injection 30% UMAVET® is suitable for preventive and therapeutic treatment of respiratory infections in cattle due to Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Haemophilus somnus. It should establish the presence of the disease in the herd before preventive treatment. It is also indicated for the treatment of acute epidemics of respiratory diseases in pigs caused by strains of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Pasteurella multocida susceptible to Florfenicol.

DOSE AND ADMINISTRATION:

• Intramuscular, Subcutaneous.
• Cattle: 1 ml per every 15 kg of body weight for 3-5 days with intervals of 48 hours.
• Pigs: Administer 1ml per every 20 kg of body weight for 3-5 days with intervals of 48 hours.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:

• The injection should only be administered in the neck.
• Do not use in horses.
• Sale under medical prescription.
• Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity.

WITHRAWAL PERIOD:

• Cattle: 30 days (Intramuscularly) 44 days (Subcutaneously).
• Pigs: 18 days.

STORAGE:

Storage in dry and cool places. Protected from direct sunlight. Store between 0° and 30° C.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:

The application of the product may cause tissues reaction at the site of inoculation that disappears over time.
