DESCRIPTION AND PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASS:

It is a second generation fluoroquinilone that mainly acts by the DNA gyrase inhibition which is needed for the DNA supercoiling which in turn, lest an appropriate space within the bacteria cell. Therefore, acts as a bactericide drug.

INDICATIONS:

Killbact it is indicated for its formulation to treat pets diarrheas and dysentery. It is recommended to treat problems from bacterial and infectious origins caused by mycoplasma and other gastrointestinal diseases which have a significant effect for cats and dogs.

DOSE AND ADMINISTRATION:

  • Dogs younger of 4 months 5 sprays/per time.
  • Adult dogs: 10 sprays/per time.

PERIOD:

3-5 days.

EXCLUSIVE ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:

Oral.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:

  • Do not administrate in cases of hypersensitivity to the formulation.
  • Once the product is totally administrated, bottles should be discarded.

CONTRAINDICATIONS OR RESTRICTIONS:

Killbact is a low toxicity drug and it is safety used. It should not be applied on very young animals as it can cause:

  1. It causes cartilage changes of the young animals.
  2. It causes reaction in the Digestive System: Vomiting and stomachache.
  3. It causes on skin: Erythema, pruritus and rash.
