INDICATIONS:

Oxytetracycline 5% L.A. Umavet® is indicated for the treatment and control of diseases caused by susceptible organisms in cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. Diseases that include Pneumonia and fever complex associated with Pasteurella transfer, Bovine kerato - conjunctivitis (red eye) caused by Moraxella bovis, FPD (lameness) caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum, bacterial enteritis (diarrhea) caused by Escherichia coli, diseases caused by Actinobacillus, leptospirosis, wound infections, metritis, mastitis caused by strains of organisms staphylococci and streptococci sensitive, septicemia, puerperal infections, bacterial infections secondary mainly caused by virus, etc

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:

Oxytetracycline 5% L.A. Umavet® is deeply intramuscularly administrated. 1ml Oxytetracycline 5% L.A. Umavet® per every 20kg of body weight.

WARNINGS:

Side effects are mainly gastrointestinal and allergic reactions to photosensitivity, which are common in the group of antibiotics such as tetracycline.

PRECAUTIONS:

In horses gastroenteritis after injection, adverse renal and liver function may occur, which strictly restricts using this product.

WITHRAWAL PERIOD:

Meat: 28 days.
Milk: 7 days, after the last treatment.
